Platelet-Rich Plasma

Platelet-rich plasma is a fraction of our blood which is rich in growth factors designed to promote healing and regeneration. The PRP fraction is simply extracted from a vial of the patient's blood and injected into inflamed tissue or into tissue which has degenerated from aging or disease. PRP therapy is used in a variety of skin conditions such as thinning hair; facial volume loss; and uneven tone and texture. Treated areas usually heal very quickly and with minimal inflammation. Several treatments are usually required.
